Juilee Decker, Ph.D. is an associate professor of museum studies at Rochester Institute of Technology where she teaches courses focusing on technology and engagement relative to museums and historic sites. Reflecting her research interests in public art, commemoration, and memory, Decker is preparing a manuscript on Kentucky-born sculptor Enid Yandell (1869-1934). Since 2008, she has served as editor of Collections: A Journal for Museum and Archives Professionals, a peer-reviewed journal published by Rowman and Littlefield. She edited the four-volume series Innovative Approaches for Museums (2015) which brought together research and practices in the areas of engagement, access, technology, collections care and stewardship, as well as fundraising and strategic planning. Decker earned her Ph.D. from the program in Art History and Museum Studies at Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
